Hi Louise,

I met you at NERFA and enjoyed your set at the Formal Showcase. I bought your album immediately and have been enjoying it ever since. You might remember that I gave you one of my own albums in the dining room on the last day and I hope you might have had a chance to listen to it on the way home. Anyway, I think you are a huge talent and love your work so consider me a big fan! Best of luck for 2012 and i hope yo see you again sometime.
Regards,
Bob

Discovered you through looking into The Black Cat's performance roster ( they are in Irvington, NY).

I have a new online directory of women experts, artists, authors, entrepreneurs, speakers, etc. and I'd love to tell my network about you via an interview, for our weekly enewsletter, SuccessPaths. If that sounds good to you (my editor Eve Gumpel can do this over the phone or via email) let me know.

Wishing you success - love 'Leave Your Gun'!

I saw and heard you at the Bluebird Cafe about a week or so ago. We were visiting my daughter, who lives in Franklin. We are a very music oriented family, and as a special treat,my daughter,son-in-law,and grandson suggested a night at the Bluebird. It was wonderful...a very pleasant experience.I have been a music fan for well over 50 years, and I must say...your songs were amazing. We all agreed that your music touched us in many ways.....the imagery painted in your songs was so simple, yet so real....the songs and music made the listener feel as though we were right there in the story. It was a wonderful night and a wonderful performance. Thank you. As an afterthought,I must tell you....I am 60 years old and this is the first fan letter I have ever written. Thank you again for helping to make that night one that will be in my memory for a long time.

After listening to you live and all 3 of your albums, I can't help but wonder if your voice would be better through some sort of filtering device - have you ever tried singing through a mustache?

Hi Lousie,
I`m the man that in Nashville ask you a sing for Lourdes.
Quite impressed, not only for your marvelous voice and songs but especially for your presence on stage. The sincerity and compromise you transmit. A pity only three songs.

Hi Louise,

I am sitting here listening to your "Home" CD. I saw you at the "Bluebird Cafe" in April '10 with my brothers and Dad. You were amazing!! Your live performance with just your guitar was mesmerizing!! I could not wait for the other 3 to finish so I could hear your voice again. Thanks for a wonderful memory. I hope to see/hear you play again!

Louise:

I listened to "Home" and "God lives in Arkansas." I like what I hear. Byron House produced my friends, The Waybacks, last album "Loaded." My friend, John Stewart, who died in 2008, and Nanci Griffith were great friends. Nanci recorded John's "The Ghost inside of Me" and "Armstrong" and sang with John on his song "Sweet Dreams Will Come."

I saw you at the 30-A Singer/Songwriter Festival-Rosemary Town Hall venue. My husband and I loved your music and your Taylor, but didn't pick your "Home" C.D. until today. We love it and the folk-Americana sound. Hope to see you next year at the 30-A Singer/Songwriter Festival.

I bought your album at an I think what is called a writer's round at a hotel in downtown Nashville.
My husband got your CD for me that night and put it on my iPod.
I listen to it over and over and over....
I put it on my docking station on my desk at work and let everyone enjoy it too.
I have got to download your other albums tonight so I can get more.
Your voice is amazing and your lyrics are very touching and identifiable.
So glad I ended up at that hotel bar that night...

Please keep me advised about "The Battle of Franklin" song that you did at last nights house concert. I have rechecked my information and my great grandfather, T.M. Jennings, was in that battle as part of the 10th Mississippi Infantry Division. We was a memeber of Company K, (Beauregards Relief) from Tippah County, Mississippi. After the defeat at Nashville his unit wintered in Merdian, MS before going to the Carolinas where he was mustered out at the end of the war. He lived in Cotton Plant Mississippi and die at the age of 74. Sorry if this is TMI. Really enjoyed your whole show.

Your sister in law (Amy) introduced me to your music along with another artist, whos music I truely love, and I have enjoyed listening to some of your songs. Amy almost drives me nuts with it as anytime we go anywhere the first thing she does is pop in your latest CD (Home) and listens to about 3 of the songs, ( I admit I like them as well just dont tell her LOL) Thank you for sharing your music, which by the sound of it you pour your soul into , with the rest of us.

Thank you. and keep on singing!

Hi Louise,

A lazy Sunday here and I have been sampling your web site music. I really like your song, "Complicated" and will listen to the others later. I will be in Oak Ridge this coming Friday the 21st to hear the Manhattan Blues Project at "Moondollars" in Jackson Square where all the talented Westcott's hangout. If you and Mark have nothing on your calendar and would like to join me there, I'm sure you could sit in and do a few songs.

Catch up with you and Mark later.
